A Little History
Since opening our doors to the public in September 2006 from Wrights Farm in Hesketh Bank, The Fire Barn has quickly established an enviable reputation as a quality retailer offering sound advice, quality products and installation services combined with competitive prices
In January 2008, we moved to Tarleton on the A565 offering larger showroom space combined with manufacturing facilities.
At this time and seeing the significant increase in demand, we started to specialise in Wood Burning & Multi-Fuel Stoves. In April of 2017 as we had out grown the site in Tarleton we decided to move again and we are now located on Momentum Business Park in Bamber Bridge. Conveniently situated only 2 minutes drive from junction 29 of the M6 motorway
We now have one of the largest ranges of wood burning and multi-fuel stoves on live burning display in Lancashire, Merseyside & Cheshire – shown in a number of contemporary and traditional settings as well as many other display stoves. In the showroom you will find a good selection of traditional and contemporary stoves from Brands such as Town and Country, Stovax, Yeoman, Broseley and ACR.
We are HETAS registered and have literally numerous high quality installations under our belt – we have learned (in many cases the hard way!) what can be involved when installing and using wood burning stoves and apply this experience to the advice and services we offer.
Whilst being very proud of our ‘Stoves’ reputation, we do an almost equal amount of business on Fires & Fireplaces. Our new showroom contains a comprehensive range of gas and electric fires from Legend Fires, Gazco, and Yeoman shown within our handmade traditional and contemporary fireplaces made in materials such as limestone, slate, sandstone and reclaimed bricks.
A number of other products are planned for introduction, building on our strong reputation and growing list of highly satisfied customers.
